Last night, we celebrated a ton of British people pretending to be American.
Red, white and navy seemed to be the main color choices of the evening – with a few purple gowns thrown in the mix (Kerry and Lupita should be ashamed of themselves). It seemed like every star had a bob with a straight, greasy side part – aside from Jennifer Aniston who wore her hair up for once.
Best dressed of the night hands down, game over, goes to Amal Clooney in Dior. So envious of that blowout – and ICYMI, those gloves are hers – she threw them on last minute, just because. Love her.
Biggest miss? Ruth Wilson. I mean, the Affair is so well done and she deserved the win, but WHAT was she thinking?! Also, she looks like a Ruth. Take that how you want.
Honorable mentions go out to Naomi Watts’ Bulgari snake necklace, Claire Danes’ eyeshadow, Lorde’s Neil Lane midi rings, Keira Knightley’s butterfly clutch, and Rosamund Pike for wearing cut-outs just five weeks after giving birth.
