Lots happened during the Junior Varsity Grammy’s last night. Celine made everyone cry, Madonna paid tribute to Prince (so did Abel aka The Weeknd), and Kesha sang from a teleprompter. Take that, Dr. Luke.
Britney Spears opened up the Billboard Music Awards, which were hosted by Ludacris and Ciara, lip syncing a medley of her greatest hits reminding us that she is still the sit up queen. Pink swung from the ceiling in yet another outstanding aerial performance. Bieber danced an apology – super into his shaved head. Sorry, not sorry.

Unfortunately, I think there were more misses than hits. While I’m super over Ariana Grande’s cat eye and half-up pony, I have to admit the hair flip she gave us after almost eating it during her E! interview was pretty epic, so snaps. All Fifth Harmony needed was a little mud on their faces and they could’ve passed as Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars. DNCE gave me life – loved how they were styled.
My best dressed of the night was a tie between Ciara in that silver, metallic Philipp Plein gown (can we talk about that side boob!) and Zendaya’s Fausto Puglisi separates.
