Let’s play a game: If you were trapped on a deserted island, what’s the one item you’d bring with you? Besides sunscreen – the most obvious and realistic answer, I got some pretty ridiculous responses when this came up with friends over the weekend.

- A survival kit – good one!
- A disease free woman – clearly answered by a male.
- The cast of ‘Lost’ – minus the smoke monster.
- An iPhone – where do you plan to plug in the charger?
- A book of poetry – seriously?
What’s my must-have survival item? I truly believe a good red lip will get you far in life, so a tube of Chanel ‘Fire’, duh.
Robbie Myers – Editor in Chief of ELLE Magazine, recently did an interview for ‘Into the Gloss‘ and mentioned that if she were ever lost on a beauty desert island, and could only bring one thing, she would take fake eyelashes – specifically Ardell 301s.
